Come celebrate the launch of “Half-Remembered Stories,” a multimedia exhibition exploring Jewish heritage from the digital generation’s point of view.

Starting at 12:30pm, meet filmmakers and storytelling artists who are using new technology to explore their family stories.

The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival teamed up with the production company Citizen Film, Zeek’s editors, and young adult artists to explore “half-remembered” aspects of their Jewish heritage from the digital generation’s point of view. The result is 50 short films, interactive blogs, and print stories. The films will premiere on the big screen at the Festival; 11 multi-media collages will be presented online beginning June 22, 2010 at the website of the New Jewish Filmmaking Project and three of the stories will appear in Zeek magazine’s summer print issue, available now
