
Avshalom Kaveh (born 1946) is a teacher, translator, journalist, and author. His books include the Sapir Prize-nominated collection Bushot (Hakibbutz Hameuchad 2002), an additional volume of stories, Lula’ot (Hakibbutz Hameuchad 2004), and the novel HaMirpeset (Am Oved 2004). Kaveh, a former sailor, recently published a collection of stories of the sea, Hayam Hazakuf (Am Oved 2006). He received Israel’s Prime Minister’s Prize in 2003.
