Alizah Salario

Alizah Salario is a freelance journalist, former high school teacher and world traveler. She writes primarily about woman’s issues, education and the arts; her work has appeared in Ms. Magazine, TimeOut Istanbul, and Playbill. She holds a masters degree from the Columbia School of Journalism and is currently the Journalism Fellow at the Poetry Foundation. After bouncing from Los Angeles to Istanbul to New York, Alizah is glad to be back in Chicago, her hometown.
