Ari Savitzky is currently a third-year law student at NYU School of Law, and a J.D. Tikvah Scholar at the Tikvah Center for Law and Jewish Civilization at NYU Law. A Brown graduate, Ari edited the Opinions page of the Daily Herald, was a Writing Fellow, and wrote for several college publications including the Independent. Before attending law school, he managed a campaign for state legislature in Rhode Island, founded and directed a democracy reform non-profit there, and lived in Beijing for 9 months while working as a copy editor (and occasional writer) for an English language newspaper. He currently lives in Brooklyn.
