Jerusalem Souvenir is the English translation of the embroidered text on the tefillin bag.
Ken fills the bag with a leather slingshot, reminiscent of tefillin straps, and ammo of carved Jerusalem stone in the shape of Jerusalem homes, ( in hebrew “batim”) recalling the same named similarly shaped parchment filled boxes “batim” found in tefillin.
Jerusalem Souvenir speaks of the frequent use of religion as an excuse for violence, aggression and terror.
