Bira’s debut Ep “Let’s Be Elk” has an upbeat feel with driving lyrics filled with humor and ingenuity. To compliment his emceeing, Bira weaves intricate melodies and harmonies into the fabric of his vocals. The music of the album is full of rich palettes of sound, illustrating Bira’s savvy sampling and knack for complex composition. Live wind and brass instruments also decorate several of the tracks mingling with Bira’s quirky synths and strange rhythms, inviting us to imagine ourselves as horned beasts…
